BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE "NEW" KEARFOTT AUTOMATED SPARE PARTS QUOTE REQUEST (SPQR) SYSTEM

 

  1. First time users, click on "Create an account now"
  2. Fill in (2 times) a valid email address (e.g.: tom@aol.com).  Click on "Verify E-Mail".
  3. Note: one or more accounts per company may be opened.  Example: if you have multiple buyers, each can have their own account at their own email address or one account can be created for your company with each buyer sharing the same "email address and password"
  4. A message will be sent to the email address that you submitted containing a link to setup an account.  Open the message and click on the link.
  5. Fill in the requested information.
  6. Note: the password is case sensitive
  7. Click on "update account information" at the bottom of the page.
  8. A message will appear that "you've created an account."  Note: after you have created an initial account, you will be sent a confirmation email that the account has been created.
  9. Click on the link in the confirmation email to get to the "login" screen.
  10. Enter your email address and password, the SPQR screen will appear.  [It is recommended that this screen be placed in Favorites or Bookmarked.  Next time you sign on click on the bookmarked screen in Favorites.]  Complete all entries for the part number/NSN being requested.  Multiple part number requests can be made without leaving the site.  If the part number or NSN is not valid, the system will not let you proceed with your request.
  11. An acknowledgement of your SPQR, along with a tracking number, will be sent to your email address.
  12. Please remember to keep your address information up to date.  Failure to do this will result in the answer to your request being sent to the wrong address

    To update your account, click on "My Account" which is located on the "Spare Parts Quote Request" screen.

    Make the appropriate changes.

    Click on "Return to Search" at bottom of page.

  13. Any questions that you may have regarding your request must reference the tracking no.
  14. Log out once all your requests have been submitted.
